Special Store Plaid Jersey

Plaid Jersey

$200.00

If you are on this page it means you have been given the private link to purchase a Red Plaid jersey. There are rules that must be followed. Red Plaid must be earned. 1) It requires riding all 10 days, 1,200 miles of the TDY route. This can be in 10 consecutive days, or it could be completed over many years. 2) However - you must ride an entire section within one day. You cannot ride partway, for example from Manistique to Nahma, spend the night, and then finish the following day to Escanaba. 3) You must ride the route. Some days, like riding from Houghton to Marquette have alternate routes. You can ride any alternate route provided by TDY. 4) Be safe. If there is a construction project or tornado for example, be safe. If you must detour to be safe, do it. But do not take shortcuts just because you are tired. Make modifications logically and only out of safety/necessity. 5) The Red Plaid jersey is to be worn as celebration of your accomplishment on the last day of your ride. Congrats - you earned it! 6) You can purchase it ahead of time, but do not wear it until that last day. If we don’t have your size in stock it might take up to a month for it to be produced by Podiumwear in Minnesota. So keep that in mind with your planning. 7) We may request you provide proof of completion by sharing your Garmin, Strava, or other tracking. 8) Do not cheat. This is on the honor system and there is nothing more honorable than earning this jersey. Be proud and do it right. 9) We will mail the jersey to the location you choose. Including mailing to a hotel in the U.P. for you to wear your last day. Best if you choose one of our Host Hotels found on the Rider Central page of the website. Just keep in mind that we have limited stock, so plan ahead of time. 10) Let us know when you finish, send us a picture of you wearing Plaid, and we’ll put you on the Hall of Plaid page - www.chasingplaid.com. You will be joining an elite group of incredible people and bikers. Have fun!
